Saturday night we said goodbye to Carmen, who is headed to her new job in Dresden. JW and Evangelos threw a party. It was a great chance to see Carmen in her element (at a party) and to kick it with the new kids.
So, some introductions:
The new aspirant Esteban translates an elaborate French handshake into Spanish for guest dancer Meritxell while guest dancer Bettina studies intently...
Bettina comes from Berlin. Ben comes from Berlin. Both their initials are BB. They have a lot to talk about. I'm interrupting...
She even brought her boyfriend, Jan, who's here in Kassel for a couple weeks to get some peace and quiet while he writes his master's thesis. Yeah, we all come here to GET FOCUSED...
The new American Ryan drops a wealth of knowledge about particle physics on Mats.
Thorsten, Carmen's replacement as dramaturge, lifts a glass with Esteban.
Meritxell is not afraid to get down.
Things got heated on the dancefloor, so Evangelos and Leyla took cover under the buffet.
And I do mean heated... Oye como WOW!
Johannes kept the drinks flowing, which made Jens very happy.
We even got a few laughs out of the birthday girl...
By the way, we don't really eat them...
