This is a rough video of the new place, which is currently in a pardon-our-dust stage. It was not made to show the apartment so much as to make sure we know where the doors are, how much or little space there is between things, etc. Don't mind those shelving units standing in the middle of the rooms. Worth a thousand words and a few passes with the measuring stick, anyway.

In case you've never been here

and you're not gonna get here before we move 35 days from now, here's one last chance to follow me home to EZ Street. We start in the city center, where they were tearing down an old building today, pass by the church and then hit the neighborhood where in 3 years I have still never gone in to "Germany's Largest and Oldest Video Store."

to the people who saw this 1970s alabaster coffee table at the second hand store on the way out of town last week...



who took pictures, but didn't have time to buy it, but who came back after their trip to the Czech Republic...



only to be told that a "young couple" had come in a half hour earlier and bought it for their new apartment...



because it will go perfectly with the couch they were shipping over from New York in the summer.

That, along with this funky little sofa bed for the office, will be held for delivery.

This easter lamb comes to you from

a sheep who lived on the island of Sardina where it was raised by a shephard who is a friend of the Meloni family.


It made its way to Germany in Michele's suitcase after Christmas. "On the way home, no clothes! On the way back, it was FULL! Of FOOD!"
